Leadership & Gundog Training Expertise

About Adam
Adam's passion for working dogs began at the age of seven when his family welcomed their first dog and started their journey into gundog training. Alongside his father, Ivor, he spent many years involved with the local gundog club, developing a love for the partnership between dog and handler and gaining valuable experience in the field from an early age.
What started as a childhood hobby quickly became a lifelong passion and ultimately led to the creation of Millroe Gundogs. Today, Adam is the Owner and Head Trainer, leading training sessions for handlers of all abilities and working with all breeds of working gundogs.
Based at Millroe's dedicated training ground in Tatenhill, Staffordshire, Adam is passionate about helping owners build strong relationships with their dogs. Whether working with young puppies, novice handlers, or more experienced teams looking to progress, his focus is always on creating confident dogs and confident handlers.
Away from the training ground, Adam remains actively involved in the shooting field and is committed to ensuring that Millroe Gundogs provides realistic, practical training that prepares dogs for life in the field.
Clients value Adam's approachable nature, patience, and enthusiasm, and his greatest reward is seeing handlers achieve their goals and enjoy the journey alongside their dogs.
